The very basic pictorial story-line:

Newborn Pia Newborn Pia

Newborn Pia
Awaiting surgery. Matt and I read some Psalms (37, 55, 134) and waited calmly as they prepped me. We went back into the OR around 9:30am and she was born at 10:07am. It took them a while longer to finish up the surgery, then we were moved back in the Recovery room.

Araiya and Tallis came to the hospital when Pia was about 3 hours old and got to hold their new baby sister. They were, of course, tickled silly.

  3. Matt & Natalie, What a beautiful baby and blessed family you have created! It saddens me that it will take some effort to meet your newest addition, and that I won’t catch you all up at the mountains during the winter. I hope you enjoy your little ladies each and every day!

    Smiles and happiness,
    Veronika
