It’s Magic

Magic Eraser, actually. I had never used one until this last week, and of course there is a story here: Remember the Eames Shell I picked up on Craigslist which had been sitting in a garage for years and years? Well, I hadn’t gotten around to cleaning it up, in part because I have yet to order a replacement base. Then someone left a comment on one of my Flickr Photos. In looking at their photostream, they mentioned they had used a Magic Eraser sponge to clean up a vintage shell. And what do you know, the previous owners of our house just happened to leave an open pack in the kitchen. So I dug it out and gave the shell a little scrubbing action. Worked like Magic, eh?
